According to the 2019 IDF statistics, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has one of the world's highest prevalence rates of diabetes at 16.3% . In addition, approximately 40.7% of adults (aged 20–79 years) with type 2 diabetes  are unaware that they have the condition.

Diabetes affects many areas , but in this episode we ll concentrate on one and thats our eye.
